Abstract

Ce séminaire s'est déroulé autour de trois principales préoccupations. La première préoccupation concerne les enjeux du transport de marchandises en Afrique sub-saharienne en insistant plus particulièrement sur les besoins de réformes structurelles dans le secteur des transports, ainsi que sur le rôle du rail dans la chaîne de transport. La seconde préoccupation a portée sur l'analyse du poids du transport dans la compétitivité de quelques produits africains en comparaison avec ce qui se passe au Vietnam, au Costa Rica ou en Indonésie. Trois ateliers ont permis d'approfondir l'analyse des différents aspects transports : portuaire et maritime, terrestres, et des corridors de desserte. La dernière préoccupation était consacrée à la problématique ''transport, intégration régionale et développement local'' ou l'on a aussi aborde l'impact de la dévaluation du FCFA sur l'écoulement des produits vivriers.
