Abstract

Le présent rapport sur le Mali est divisé en cinq chapitres :Le premier chapitre fournit un éclairage sur le contexte économique, sociale et réglementaire dans le cadre duquel sont étudiés les coûts du transport routier.Le second chapitre analyse les pratiques de gestion des transporteurs ainsi que les comportements économico-financiers et les stratégies différenciées des artisans et des sociétés de transport.L'analyse statistique des prix de transport pratiqués fait l'objet du troisième chapitre : niveau des prix, facteurs de variabilité, confirmation de l'hypothèse de hiérarchisation du système de transport routier au Mali.Le chapitre quatre est consacré à l'analyse des coûts d'exploitation des transporteurs, qui sont ensuite confrontés ensuite à leur recettes de manière à aboutir a des simulations de la situation financière des transporteurs.Les premiers éléments de conclusion sont esquissés dans le dernier chapitre.
