L'entreprise collective : unité et diversité de l'économie sociale et solidaire

Abstract

Cet article présente les résultats d'une recherche d'envergure visant à mieux cerner l'identité des organisations d'économie sociale. Plus de trente monographies ont été réalisées auprès de trois types de structures : associations d'habitants, organisations culturelles, coopératives de production, offrant des entrées différentes (acteurs, activité ou statut) pour identifier les dynamiques internes qui sont à l'oeuvre. Une lecture socio-économique permet de tracer les contours de l'économie sociale et solidaire, aux frontières des économies domestique, artisanale, lucrative et publique. Ce sont ensuite les critères d'appartenance à l'économie sociale qui sont envisagés sous plusieurs angles : le projet socio-politique, les activités socio-économiques, l'entrepreneuriat collectif, les formes de mutualisation, l'utilité sociale. A partir de ces critères, des profils d'entreprise sont identifiés dans chaque groupe étudié. Etayant leur propos de nombreux exemples, les auteurs montrent ainsi toute la diversité du champ de l'économie sociale et solidaire.
