Abstract

The concept of ‘value' can be concrete (the value of an object) or abstract (the value of life), and its manifestations are so diverse and innumerable that the term ‘value' has become a synonym for ‘value'. its manifestations are so diverse and innumerable that the term ‘value', which has become par excellence, was gradually transformed into a ‘suitcase' word, a catch-all into which everyone into which everyone puts what they like. If we talk about the value of a currency or a stock share on the stock market, we are a long way from the value of a sportsperson's efforts at the Olympic Games, or the value of a molecule to cure HIV. Without claiming to be exhaustive exhaustiveness, which would be too improbable, we will review the state of the question of the the question of the polysemous notion of value, in its most conceptual and least generic aspects. less generic
