Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is sparking a debate about the transformation of jobs. Its introduction in the workplace requires collective choices regarding its deployment, which motivates unions to encourage social dialogue at both European and French levels to explore its potential in a participatory manner. This issue of Connaissance de l'emploi offers an analysis of French company agreements signed between 2017 and 2024 that mention AI. Although they represent a small proportion of signed agreements, their number has rapidly increased in recent years. These agreements now concern, in varying proportions, almost all sectors of activity and nearly all negotiation topics.
