Abstract

Les économistes spécialisés dans les questions de transport ont à résoudre l'un des casse-tête les plus difficiles de la transition énergétique : comment faire diminuer les émissions de carbone du secteur ? Ce sont les seules qui n'ont pas bougé depuis l'accord de Paris sur le climat en 2015. Certes, les voitures, camions ou avions sont plus économes en énergie, mais la demande de déplacement ne cesse d'augmenter, ce qui neutralise l'effet positif des technologies. Comment inverser la tendance ? Pour mieux y réfléchir, ils ont formé l'AFET, l'Association française d'économie du transport, qui tient mercredi 22 et jeudi 23 novembre 2023 sa conférence inaugurale à l'Ecole d'économie de Paris.
