Abstract

For several years, we have been witnessing an upsurge in the number of women entrepreneurs in France, going from 20% in 2015 to 30% in 2018 (Insee, premiere, 2020). These figures can be explained in part by the desire of women to better balance the professional and private spheres. Female entrepreneurship is increasingly moving away from gendered reasoning in order to pay particular attention to support mechanisms. This research focuses on opportunity entrepreneurs within the meaning of (Forbes, 2017) who have a range of support tools upstream of the creation of their business. Also, the objective of our research is to identify the tools and the way in which these women mobilize them to create their business.
