Abstract

Change management is a recurrent subject in management sciences, exploring how organizations adapt to both internal and external mutations. Literature on change management explores its conduct, but it does not document how the cooperation needed for transformations operates after the emergence of the need for change. In this article, we show how a polycentric approach helps to implement a change desired by organizational actors, by facilitating cooperation in spaces of debate. Using this approach leads to a much wider change within organization. Organization thus, can get into a reflexive dynamic by acquiring a deep understanding of the rule system in force in the day-to-day life of professionals.
