Abstract

The violence of social inequalities was significant, almost unbearable, between developed and so-called developing countries. In extreme poverty, the last five decades show a progress in the fight against misery and hunger in the world, but the redistribution was made between the middle classes and the poorest classes, the incomes and wealth of the very rich having increased significantly, especially in the United States as shown by the evolution of the Gini coefficient. In fact, several actions will have to be taken, particularly on the fiscal front, to provide a better distribution of the fruits of growth.
