Abstract

L'objectif de cette communication est double, d'une part, on discute l'approche de Litchenberg et Zilberman (1986) pour l'estimation de la productivité marginale des pesticides et d'autre part, on présente une méthode d'inférence et d'estimation robuste pour les spécifications de fonctions de production telles qu'elles ont été présentées par Just et Popo (1978). Cette méthode s'inspire dans une très large mesure des travaux de Wooldridge (1990, 1991) réalisés dans le cadre de la méthode des moments généralisée, et est comparée à celle proposée par Grifiths et Anderson (1982) habituellement utilisée dans ce contexte. Les avantages de cette nouvelle approche sont mis en évidence à partir de travaux empiriques réalisés en utilisant un panel, issu du RICA, de 496 exploitations françaises spécialisées en grandes cultures suivies de 1987 à 1990.
