Le cadre normatif du questionnement à visée évaluative : de la soumission à la négociation

Abstract

Les pratiques évaluatives se caractérisent généralement par l'instauration d'une relation de pouvoir/soumission entre évaluateur et évalué, dans laquelle l'évalué tente de se conformer à un modèle normatif implicite. En présence d'une consigne dont l'énonciation constitue une remise en cause de la pertinence de ce modèle, l'évalué peut au contraire devenir partenaire actif de l'échange. On a ainsi étudié deux situations de terrain : une situation de recrutement, d'une part, une situation d'évaluation de connaissances, d'autre part. L'analyse des discours produits par les évalués montre que si la plupart d'entre eux restaure le cadre attendu, certains participent au contraire à la définition des paramètres du contrat de communication, via la métacommunication ; celle-ci en effet permet de construire l'évaluateur en tant que destinataire incarné du discours plutôt qu'instance a-situationnelle.
