Abstract

Le marché européen d'importation de bananes fait l'objet d'une organisation commune de marché (ocmb) depuis 1993. Condamnée par l'Organisation mondiale du commerce (OMC) en 1997 à la suite d'une plainte déposée par quatre pays d'Amérique latine et les États-Unis, l'Union européenne a été contrainte de modifier I'ocmb en janvier 1999. Mais le nouveau régime a été aussitôt remis en cause par les États-Unis et l'Équateur, puis condamné en avril 1999 par l'OMC.
