Abstract

La démocratisation des logiciels open source a été un des phénomènes marquants de l'industrie informatique ces dix dernières années. Ces logiciels sont régis par des licences particulières qui permettent à quiconque de les utiliser, les copier, les modifier et les distribuer librement. Dans cet article, l'auteur cherche à mettre en exergue l'importance stratégique que peut revêtir, pour les éditeurs de logiciels, le choix d'une licence informatique et plus précisément l'impact de ce choix sur leurs modèles économiques.
