La Globalisation Economique Est-Elle Un Facteur De Sécurité Et De Paix ?

Abstract

Pour les libéraux, la mondialisation économique était supposée développer els échanges commerciaux et conduire à une « globalisation heureuse ». La fin de l'histoire était annoncée. Or, les guerres subsistent, ainsi que les conflits économiques, politiques ou stratégiques, voire environnementaux. La permanence des enjeux étatiques divergents conduit à des politiques de puissance. La mondialisation devient surtout un facteur de privatisation des Etats et à une hégémonie américaine. L'économie est à la fois une cause de guerre et un moyen des conflits armés. Les valeurs économiques et militaires deviennent indissociables, ce qui exprime de manière claire la relation étroite entre la mondialisation et les rapports de force dans le monde d'aujourd'hui.
