Abstract

Cet article rend compte de recherches françaises en évaluation de politiques de formation d'adultes en difficulté. On cherche à analyser les méthodes utilisées, à voir l'effet des méthodes sur les résultats et sur les réponses aux questions ultimes qui sont posées aux chargés d'évaluation. On précise leur portée et leurs limites et on cherche à les mettre en contraste avec les méthodes américaines qui traitent des programmes ciblés de même nature. Les comparaisons menées mériteraient d'être approfondies à partir d'autres cas de programmes de même nature portant sur les mêmes cibles.
