L'alimentation animale dans la Communauté européenne : structures industrielles et approvisionnement en matières premières. Les Pays-Bas

Abstract

Le développement de la concurrence entre matières premières et le recours à des gammes élargies de produits d'importation sont des phénomènes qui tendent à se généraliser dans la Communauté Européenne. Mais le rythme des substitutions a été très variable d'un bout à l'autre de la Communauté et les situations sont, aujourd'hui encore, extrêmement disparates. Ces disparités peuvent s'expliquer parce que les entreprises et les industries ont leurs propres spécificités sur le plan organisationnel, technique.... De ce fait, elles ont des attitudes diverses lorsqu'elles sont confrontées au changement et elles ont réagi de manière très différente face aux évolutions des marchés de matières premières. C'est en utilisant cette approche qu'une équipe du Département d'Économie et Sociologie Rurales de l'INRA a entrepris d'analyser les systèmes de production d'aliments composés et leur approvisionnement dans les "principaux" pays européens. Le présent document est consacré au système néerlandais.
