Abstract

Despite the perceived benefits of information and communication technologies in the perspective of sustainable development, the adoption of Green IT remains a still relatively unknown topic due to the lack of works being interested in it so far. This article, largely descriptive, therefore intends to explore organizational behaviors in this area and the determinants of adoption of Green IT. Based on the results of a survey conducted with French companies, this paper offers an overview of the diffusion of Green IT within organizations and contributes to the reflection on the links between information systems, corporate social responsibility and innovation.
