Conception de services high tech innovant et conception de services : quelle difference de processus

Abstract

Ce chapitre porte sur les spécificités du processus de conception d'un service high tech innovant, par comparaison avec celui d'un service "plus classique". Plus précisément, il relate les résultats d'une recherche portant sur les facteurs qui influencent tout particulièrement le développement des services high tech. Après avoir proposé une définition d'un service high tech innovant et repéré les facteurs spécifiques au processus de développement d'un service "générique", l'auteur relate l'histoire du développement de deux services high tech, pour lesquels le support technologique, le design de service mais aussi l'usage de ce service "générique", l'auteur relate l'histoire du développement de deux services high tech, pour lesquels le support technologique, le design de service mais aussi l'usage de ce service par le client sont radicalement innovants. Les deux cas étudiés ont trait au domaine des télécommunications et portent sur le développement de services de connexions à distance à différents réseaux d'informations, dont Internet. Néanmoins, tandis que le premier cas relate un service pour particulier, et s'inscrit dans une relation de B to C, le second est développé pour un segment d'entreprises. Ces deux récits permettent l'identification d'une série de facteurs qui semblent prépondérants dans le processus de conception d'un service high tech selon la nature du client : particuliers ou entreprises "B to C" et "B to B"
