Une analyse non parametrique des distributions du revenu et des caracteristiques des menages

Abstract

Nous etudions des familles de distributions bivariees du revenu et de l'age, mais aussi du statut professionnel par l'intermediaire de leurs densites marginales et conditionnelles sur plusieurs annees. Un concept d'invariance est introduit afin de decrire l'evolution dans le temps de ces distributions. Une estimation non parametrique est realisee en utilisant des estimateurs fonctionnels a noyau obtenus en selectionnant des fenteres optimales. Les donnees se composent d'echantillons en coupe transversale provenant de la population des menages britanniques au cours des annees 1968 a 1995.
