Présence syndicale et performance financière des entreprises françaises : existe-t-il un lien ?

Abstract

Cet article expose les principaux résultats d’une étude consacrée au lien entre la présence syndicale et la rentabilité des entreprises en France. A partir d’un échantillon de 2 978 établissements français, issu de l’enquête REPONSE 1998 (Relations Professionnelles et Négociations d’Entreprise), une investigation de nature quantitative a été menée. Les résultats des analyses statistiques montrent que la présence syndicale n’affecte pas la rentabilité des entreprises, quel que soit le type d’implantation syndicale, contestant ainsi les conclusions des études anglo-saxonnes. Ce constat peut s’expliquer par les caractéristiques des relations professionnelles en France.
