Elucidation of the Fifth National Report on Convention to Combat Desertification

Abstract

This document covers the initiatives and contributions of Government of India, Science and Technology Institutions and Civil Society Organisations in addressing the issues of desertification, land degradation and drought. This report will enable us to understand the key issues as also the measures undertaken to address these problems; and will be useful for policy makers, planners, academicians, civil society groups and relevant stakeholders involved in such endeavours.
