Campo organizacional e desenvolvimento do Seridó: Um estudo no semiárido brasileiro

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo é analisar o campo organizacional das organizações que trabalham com o desenvolvimento no Seridó Ocidental do Rio Grande do Norte. Na preparação dos métodos e técnicas de pesquisa, levantaram-se alguns critérios para selecionar as organizações participantes da pesquisa, e decidiu-se por trabalhar com organizações públicas e privadas sem fins lucrativos, e que atuassem em algum fórum ou rede de organizações. Foram aplicados questionários e entrevistas com as lideranças. Dentre os resultados alcançados, percebe-se que as organizações investigadas estão em estágios diferentes e algumas já possuem uma gestão bem profissional, estas conseguem obter mais recursos e conseguem atrair outras para orbitarem em sua área de influência. A grande disputa, no entanto, está entre as organizações ligadas às esferas de governo municipal e as organizações da sociedade civil; as prefeituras e câmaras de vereadores ainda são espaços relacionados com as antigas elites conservadoras, conhecidas no nordeste por coronéis.
