Efectos Distributivos de Esquemas Alternativos de Tarifas Sociales: Una Exploración Cuantitativa

Abstract

Este trabajo evalúa cuantitativamente el desempeño de algunos esquemas alternativos de tarifas sociales como instrumentos de política social, mediante una serie de ejercicios de simulación. Como fuente de información se emplean los microdatos de la Encuesta Nacional de Gastos de los Hogares de 1996-1997 desagregados para los servicios de electricidad, gas natural y su sustituto, el gas envasado. El análisis se realiza para el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires.
