Modelo De Crecimiento Endógeno En La Industria De Fabricación De Productos Alimenticios En Colombia

Abstract

Resumen En este documento se analizan las externalidades por la inversión generadas en la industria manufacturera colombiana, las cuales afectan la producción de la industria de fabricación de alimentos. Asimismo, se estudia individualmente el efecto de algunas industrias sobre esta última entre el período 1985-2006. Los datos fueron obtenidos del DANE y DNP (Encuesta Anual Manufacturera). Al llevar a cabo la estimación de un modelo log-log (para la función de producción), se encontró que la inversión en stock de capital, tomada como determinante del crecimiento endógeno de la industria manufacturera, permitió el desbordamiento de conocimientos y el aprendizaje por la práctica en el aumento de la producción de la industria de fabricación de productos alimenticios.
