Perspectiva Económica sobre la demanda de combustibles en Antioquia

Abstract

Resumen: La demanda por combustibles líquidos en Colombia ha presentado un comportamiento procíclico con el desempeno de la actividad económica, sin embargo, los cambios regulatorios que se han dado a partir de 1998 acompanados por la aceleración en la penetración de los sustitutos de la gasolina corriente, han llevado a convertir el servicio de distribución de combustibles líquidos en uno de los sectores mas inciertos y volátiles de la economía. En este sentido, el entorno internacional, la política de desmonte del subsidio, los cambios en la formulación de los márgenes y el proceso de dieselización han sido los principales factores que han afectado el consumo de combustibles en el país. Por tanto, es importante analizar el comportamiento de dichas variables y su influencia sobre la demanda por combustibles
