Il recupero dei crediti: costi, tempi e comportamenti delle banche

Abstract

Il lavoro presenta i risultati di un'indagine sulle modalità di recupero dei crediti delle banche. La documentazione dei costi e dei tempi della risoluzione del contenzioso si accompagna a una prima analisi degli effetti sui comportamenti degli intermediari. Nel caso delle procedure giudiziarie, i tempi di recupero risultano assai elevati a fronte di quantità recuperate piuttosto limitate anche quando il credito sia assistito da garanzie. Emerge, inoltre, un'ampia variabilità territoriale nella durata di tali procedure, che conferma lo svantaggio comparato delle regioni meridionali.
