Bibliography of the Pulp and Paper Industries

Author

Listed:
  • Surface, Henry E.

Abstract

Excerpt from the Introduction: Recent progress in pulp and paper making and the widespread interest in the industry have brought a demand for a more complete list of works dealing with the subject than has heretofore existed. Up to the present, more than 800 books, pamphlets, and reprints, which deal directly with pulp and paper, their raw materials, manufacture, and uses, or with closely related subjects, have been published. Lists of works on pulp and paper have also been issued, but these are either incomplete, out of date, or not readily accessible. To meet its own needs the Forest Service prepared the list of titles which follows. The aim was to compile a more complete and accurate reference work on the literature of the pulp and paper industries than had before appeared.
