Part 1: Reasons for Suspending Reporting Requirements; Effect of Suspension Upon the Volume of Trading and Upon the Amount of Open Commitments; The Amount of Trading in 1927 May Wheat and Corn Futures and the Amount of Wheat Actually Delivered and Received on May Contracts. Part 2: The Effect Upon Producers of Grain of the Suspension by the Secretary of Agriculture of the Requirement for the Making of Reports by Members of Grain Futures Exchanges and the Cause of the Wide Fluctuations in Wheat Prices During the Early Months of 1927, Especially After February 26, the Date of the Suspension of Such Requirement.
