Is There Room for People in Farm Management Education?

Abstract

This paper examines aspects of business management related to people; specifically human resource management and organizational behaviour. While usually a part of curricula for general business management programs, they are often overlooked or not emphasized within conventional farm management education. Human resource management and organizational behaviour are discussed in terms of their relevance to farm management education. Finally, the paper concludes with some suggestions concerning possible methods of delivery for these topics.
