Producer Marketing Boards And Price Adjustments In World Grain Sorghum Markets

Abstract

A partial adjustment lag model is estimated to analyze the rate at which farm and port level prices of selected countries adjust to factors in world sorghum markets. Differences exist among exporting countries in the speed of farm price adjustments to port and cif import price changes, after considering the influence of marketing boards.
