In: The Economic Impact of Government Policy on China’s Private Higher Education Sector

Abstract

Before being able to understand the nature of the growth of higher education in China in recent years it is necessary to know something about the context in which it has occurred. In the Chinese case this growth in higher education has occurred during a period of enormous growth and transformation of the Chinese economy.
