Abstract

Zusammenfassung Gute Unternehmensführung ist Handwerk und Kunst zugleich. Handwerk, da es gilt, das tägliche Geschäft mit den zur Verfügung stehenden Ressourcen und Prozessen zu steuern. Kunst, da es in einem schöpferischen Prozess gilt, Produkte und Dienstleistungen auf den Markt zu bringen, die das Unternehmen von den Wettbewerbern abheben – es einzigartig machen. Dabei wird die Unternehmensführung zu einer zunehmend komplexen Aufgabe. Im Zeitalter des globalen Wettbewerbs wird die Fülle an Herausforderungen deutlich, der sich Führungskräfte stellen müssen. Es geht darum, die vielschichtigen Interessen des Unternehmens, seiner Eigentümer, seiner Kunden, seiner Mitarbeiter und seines breiteren gesellschaftlichen Umfelds zu wahren.
