Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das am 01.07.2004 in Kraft getretene Olympiaschutzgesetz (OlympSchG) schützt die Inhaber der Rechte an den olympischen Symbolen und Bezeichnungen. Dies sind das IOC und der DOSB. Es gewährt den Rechtsinhabern einen sehr weitreichenden Schutz, der über den ansonsten im deutschen Immaterialgüterrecht bestehenden deutlich hinausgeht.Der Beitrag befasst sich mit den hierdurch entstehenden Rechtsfragen unter Berücksichtigung der teils kontroversen Rechtsprechung.
