Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kap. 6 befasst sich mit der obersten für das Prozessmanagement verantwortlichen Rolle – dem Chief Process Officer (CPO). Er gibt dem Thema, ähnlich wie ein Stadtplaner einer Großstadt, eine Struktur und einen Rahmen. Das Kapitel beschreibt, wie er seiner Verantwortung für eine BPM-Governance, der strategischen Ausrichtung der Geschäftsprozesse, der Einführung und Pflege eines Prozesscontrollings sowie der Bereitstellung eines (unternehmensspezifischen) Reifegradmodells gerecht wird.
