Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Rahmen der Produktentwicklung kommt der Phase der Produktplanung und -konzeption auch bei einem Hersteller von Flurförderzeugen (auch: Gabelstaplern) wie Jungheinrich eine Schlüsselrolle zu. Bereits mit der Definition der Merkmale werden die in der Beschaffung, der Produktion und im Vertrieb entstehenden Kosten weitgehend festgelegt. Korrekturen am Produkt oder am Herstellungsprozess lassen sich mit Voranschreiten des Entwicklungsprozesses nur noch unter sehr hohem Aufwand durchführen. Aus diesem Grund ist es notwendig, zukünftige Produkte möglichst frühzeitig und kundenorientiert zu definieren. Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird anhand einer realen Anwendung diskutiert, wie diese Produktplanung und -konzeption mit Hilfe einer Conjointanalyse effizient auf den Kundenwunsch ausgerichtet werden kann.
