Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Finanzierung von gemeinnützigen Organisationen ist oftmals komplex und die Probleme der Steuerung der Geld- und Zahlungsmittelvorgänge finden eine vergleichsweise geringe Aufmerksamkeit – alleine dies ist schon Grund genug sich (auch) im Kontext der strategischen Nachfolgeplanung mit den Grundzügen der Finanzierung gemeinnütziger Organisationen zu befassen. Eine wesentliche Ursache hierfür dürfte sein, dass der größte Teil der sozialen Einrichtungen und Dienste in ihrer differenzierten Finanzierungs- und Investitionspolitik immer noch weitgehend von Entscheidungen Dritter beeinflusst oder gar abhängig ist. Dennoch: je nach Finanzierungsquelle ist eine nicht zu unterschätzende Personenbezogenheit gegeben und damit eine direkte Interdependenz im Kontext der Nachfolgeplanung. Hinzu kommt, dass die Vielfalt von Finanzierungsstrukturen und -beziehungen eine besondere Herausforderung für die Nachfolgeplanung darstellt und insofern für diesen Bereich eine transparente und strukturierte Übergabe an den Nachfolger oder die Nachfolgerin unerlässlich ist.
