Abstract

Zusammenfassung Auch die Nachfolge für Leitungsfunktionen mit einem komplexen Aufgabenbereich kann durchaus erfolgreich mit externen Personen besetzt sein. Allerdings sind hierbei verschiedene Aspekte zu berücksichtigen. So sollte bspw. die Einarbeitungszeit mit Bedacht gewählt werden: auch wenn es sicher nicht den einzig idealen Zeitraum für eine Einarbeitung gibt, so kann der fachliche Umfang der mit der Funktion verbundenen Aufgaben ein Indikator dafür sein, ob eine eher längere oder kürzere „Überlappungszeit“ gewählt wird. Wichtig, insbesondere bei einer längeren Einarbeitungszeit, ist, dass Vorgänger/in und Nachfolger/in sowohl gemeinsam Entscheidungen treffen, gleichzeitig aber dem bzw. der Nachfolger/in genügend Raum gelassen wird, sich zu entwickeln und ein eigenes Profil zu zeigen.
