Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag wird ein Verfahren zur Führungskräfteauswahl vorgestellt, das sich in wesentlichen Punkten von etablierten Verfahren unterscheidet. Im sog. Management-Colloquium wird der immer noch weit verbreitete diagnostische Ansatz durch ein dialogisches Vorgehen ersetzt. Dabei begegnen sich Vertreter des Unternehmens und Bewerberinnen oder Bewerber gleichberechtigt auf Augenhöhe. Die Werte des Unternehmens bilden dafür den Handlungsrahmen. Beide Seiten nähern sich schrittweise an und prüfen die Passung ihrer Wertvorstellungen, des Organisations- und Führungsverständnisses und der Handlungspotenziale. Zentrales Element ist ein moderierter Workshop, in welchem eine aktuelle Herausforderung des Unternehmens zusammen mit der potenziellen Geschäftsführung bearbeitet wird. Diese Situation soll exemplarisch sein für die künftige konkrete Zusammenarbeit und allen Beteiligten eine zuverlässige Einschätzung zur Passung ermöglichen. Durch dieses Vorgehen entsteht für das Unternehmen ein doppelter Zusatznutzen: Neben dem Hauptzweck, nämlich eine passende Führungskraft zu finden, wird ein ohnehin anstehendes Thema mit externer Unterstützung bearbeitet. Darüber hinaus wird das am Verfahren beteiligte Führungspersonal durch die Impulse der Workshop-Moderation zu ihren Managementaufgaben und -funktionen qualifiziert.
