Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine erfolgreiche strategische Unternehmensnachfolge kann in sieben Phasen erfolgen: Konzeption und Vorbereitung, vorbereitende Maßnahmen zur Personalgewinnung, Personalakquise, Personalauswahl, Entscheidung, Onboarding der neuen und Verabschiedung der alten Führungskraft. Dieser Beitrag fokussiert die Phasen 1 bis 5 und damit den Prozess der Suche nach der passenden nachfolgenden Führungskraft. Bei einer so anspruchsvollen Stellenbesetzung sollten verschiedene Instrumente der Personalbeschaffung und -auswahl zum Einsatz kommen wie die Stellenbeschreibung, das multidimensionale Anforderungsprofil und verschiedene Tools zur Eignungsdiagnostik. Ein weiteres wichtiges Thema, das bei (ruhestandsbedingter) strategischer Nachfolgeplanung berücksichtigt werden sollte, ist das interne Talentmanagement, das die externe Suche nach der passenden Person ergänzen kann.
