Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Polizei Bremen hat im Jahr 2015 mit der Kommunikation über Social Media begonnen und betreibt aktuell (Stand Dezember 2023) unter dem Namen @BremenPolizei einen Facebook, einen X (ehemals Twitter) und einen Instagram Kanal. Für eine Behörde wie die Polizei Bremen gilt es im Netz analog zur klassischen Pressearbeit stets neutral zu bleiben. Nicht immer eine leichte Aufgabe, mit Blick auf die facettenreichen Themen, auf die im Netz reagiert werden müssen. Hinzu kommen Aspekte wie Datenschutz und das Legalitätsprinzip, die einen polizeilichen Account in Teilen von anderen unterscheiden.
