Abstract

Salary is an emotional topic. Since it is rarely discussed, employees often feel uncertain about when and how they can request a raise and what is expected of them. This uncertainty stems from societal norms and outdated salary structures, which are seldom challenged, even as the world of work evolves towards greater collaboration, transparency, and participation. But how can New Work succeed if the compensation does not align with the needs of employees? With this question in mind, we at celebrate company have developed a New-Pay model, creating a fair and transparent salary process for our employees through peer review, market-oriented salary curves, and a salary council. This article introduces our model.
