Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag untersucht den Einsatz von generativer KI wie ChatGPT und von anderen KI-Technologien im Maschinenbauvertrieb. Er zeigt, dass (bereits heute) viele Unternehmen KI einsetzen, um Prozesse zu optimieren und Kundenbeziehungen zu verbessern. Obwohl ein solcher KI-Einsatz mit deutlichen Herausforderungen v. a. in den Bereichen Datenschutz und Akzeptanz der Beschäftigten verbunden ist, blickt die Branche positiv in die Zukunft. Sie erwartet eine Zunahme/Manifestierung von KI im Vertrieb, betont aber gleichzeitig die Notwendigkeit einer ausgewogenen Integration von Mensch und Maschine.
