Abstract

Zusammenfassung Arbeits-(Zeit-)Gestaltung in Unternehmen unterliegt einem beständigen Wandel. Verantwortlich für diesen Wandel sind vielfältige soziale, politische, technologische und ökonomische Faktoren. Nicht zuletzt spielt das Anliegen einer gelingenden Vereinbarkeit von Beruf, Familie und weiteren Lebensbereichen eine Rolle – ein Thema, dessen Bedeutung in der Corona-Pandemie noch zugenommen hat. Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet unterschiedliche Kontexte der aktuellen Flexibilitätsdiskussion und stellt acht Leitsätze für eine moderne Arbeitszeitkultur vor, die in ihrer Reichweite deutlich über das Anliegen einer besseren Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie hinausgehen. Erfahrungen aus der betrieblichen Praxis fließen dabei ein. Dem Beitrag liegt die These zugrunde, dass Leitsätze einen nützlichen Beitrag leisten können, wenn es darum geht, Dialog- und Aushandlungsprozesse in Unternehmen über eine zukunftsfähige Arbeitszeitgestaltung zu strukturieren und zu moderieren.
