Abstract

Zusammenfassung In einer Arbeitswelt, die zunehmend von Digitalisierung geprägt ist, ändern sich die Arbeitsbedingungen und damit auch die Herausforderungen für Führungskräfte und Mitarbeitende. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit den Chancen und Herausforderungen virtueller Führung und ihren Anforderungen an die Führungskräfte bei der Leitung von Teams, die ganz oder teilweise virtuell zusammenarbeiten. Auch für die Entwicklung und das Management von Kompetenzen für Führungskräfte und Mitarbeitende in Organisationen und damit für die Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung bringen digitale Technologien neue Möglichkeiten. Diese sollen hier beispielhaft erläutert und mit ihren Möglichkeiten und Grenzen untersucht werden.
