Abstract

Zusammenfassung Evidenzbasiertes Fundraising-Management (EFM) setzt sich zum Ziel, die häufig auf Intuition und persönlichen Präferenzen beruhenden Entscheidungen im Fundraising-Management dahingehend zu erweitern, dass wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse und insbesondere empirische Belege in die Entscheidungsfindung um die geeignete Strategie oder Methode integriert werden. Dabei können Fundraiser selbst Evidenz generieren, indem sie systematisch Daten erheben und auswerten, oder auf bestehende Studien zurückgreifen. Der vorliegende Beitrag liefert praktische Hilfestellung zu beiderlei Aspekten. EFM ist ein zeitgemäßer anwendungsorientierter und zugleich wissenschaftlich fundierter Ansatz, der bei stringenter Umsetzung deutliche Vorteile im Wettbewerb um Spendende und Spenden bewirken kann.
