Abstract

Zusammenfassung Social Media ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil unserer Gesellschaft und hat eine hohe Bedeutung für das Marketing von Städten und Kommunen. Gerade auf einem hart umkämpften Markt nach Gästen, Urlaubserlebnissen und -gefühlen sowie nach Informationen ist Social Media ein wichtiges Instrument. Der Beitrag zeigt anhand eines persönlichen Erfahrungsberichtes der Bürgermeisterin von Scharbeutz auf, wie soziale Medien hier genutzt werden und welche Auswirkungen sie haben können.
