Abstract

Zusammenfassung Angesichts einer wachsenden Komplexität bei Produkten und Prozessen sowie steigender Dynamik im Umfeld der Unternehmen gewinnt die optimale Gestaltung und Lenkung aller Aktivitäten der Wertschöpfungskette immer mehr an Bedeutung. Die Unternehmen sehen sich zunehmend vor der Herausforderung, den ständigen Fluss von Produkten, Informationen und Zahlungen so zu managen, dass ein wettbewerbsfähiger Kundenservice zu möglichst geringen Kosten erbracht werden kann.
