Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Innovation“ kommt vom lateinischen Wort „innovare“ und steht für Erneuerung oder Umgestaltung. Aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht ist Innovation etwas Komplexes und Neues, das einen wirtschaftlichen Nutzen für eine Organisation oder ein Unternehmen bringt. Das Innovationsmanagement umfasst Elemente wie Ideen, Erfindungen und Diffusion (Müller-Prothmann & Dörr, 2019). Innovationen umfassen die Generierung von Ideen und die ständige Validierung und Überprüfung dieser Ideen im Rahmen eines strukturierten Innovationsprozesses (Nelke, 2016). Das Innovationsmanagement umfasst drei Ebenen, wie in Abb. 9.1 dargestellt. Neben der operativen Ebene, der Arbeitsebene, gibt es die strategische und die normative Ebene (Stibbe, 2019). Innovationen werden auf der normativen und strategischen Ebene beschlossen und auf der operativen Ebene umgesetzt (Helmold & Samara, 2019).
