Abstract

The capacitated discrete ordered median location model with binary assignment admit several formulations, some of them based on the binarization of the continuous models introduced in [2]. In this paper we consider a new formulation for the binary assignment problem based on a coverage approach. We derive some basic properties of the model and compare its performance with respect to previously known formulations.
