Abstract

In the corporate realm, fostering individual creativity and innovation necessitates their seamless integration into a well-structured process landscape and organizational frameworks, ensuring their sustainable and enduring development. For any thriving enterprise, particularly those in the service sector or involved in the production of intricate goods, the goal is not merely to rely on sporadic bursts of inspiration but to continuously cultivate advancements in technology and, crucially, operational methodologies. Change and persistent optimization define contemporary businesses. This entails more than just weathering seismic shifts or staff turnover that could paralyze operations and lead to talent drain. It’s about ingraining adaptability into the corporate ethos and nurturing employee consciousness. In this chapter, amongst others, we discuss company culture, the changing role of management and leadership, organizational types and their influence on innovation, as well as self-organization and start-up spirit.
